Felo uses the same ELO rating system as professional chess. When players win, they gain rating points; when they lose, they lose points. The amount gained or lost depends on the rating difference between teams—beating higher-rated opponents earns more points, while losing to lower-rated players costs more. New players start at a default rating (typically 1000-1500) and their rating adjusts after each match.

There's no limit! Felo supports unlimited players per team. Every player gets their own profile, ELO rating, and statistics. Perfect for offices of any size, from small startups to large companies.

Each team account represents one competitive environment with one leaderboard. If you have multiple offices or want separate competitions, you can create multiple team accounts with completely isolated data and rankings.

For each match, we calculate the average ELO of both 2-player teams to determine the expected outcome. After the match, each of the 4 players' individual ELO ratings are adjusted based on whether they won or lost and how unexpected the result was.

You can view your complete match history and see all recorded games. If you need to correct a mistake, contact support and we'll help you adjust the records. We're working on adding self-service match editing in a future update.

Absolutely! Every player profile shows their complete match history, ELO progression over time, win/loss records, head-to-head statistics against specific opponents, and current streaks. The leaderboard updates in real-time after every match.
